Hand Baked Records brings you an action packed CD of 8 bit breaks, beats, and blips. What’s it all about? Well, the CD falls under the genre of chip tunes; using retro video game consoles and obsolete computers to make music in a contemporary style. Even the imagery printed on to the CD was created using a Gameboy by visual artist Pikilipita.com. The tracks selected for this compilation were picked because of their unique qualities and individual style. They were written by many great underground chip tune artists, sourced from across the world and spanning various sub-genres of electronic music.

Agent Elf is a band that Hand Baked were very excited by when they played what has become the legendary Mersham (Kent) festival in a 14th Century cottage; where they played in the front room. Their sound truly blew everyone away. This four piece band from South London have a knack of fusing rock, dubstep, electronica and DnB.

The track 'Lost In Control' is part of the Midnight Club: Los Angeles video game made by Rockstar (creators of Grand Theft Auto), available on the Playstation 3, PSP and XBOX 360!

Electric Lifeform (aka E:LF/Tom) is the founder of all things Hand Baked brings you his nasty sounds via this 12".

The A side to this record is a gabba/hardcore re-working of some classic Napalm Death riffs. The B side is a monster mash-up of Commodore + Atari loops chopped and spliced with a speedcore beat and some half time edits. This heavyweight vinyl pressing comes accompanied with a CDR that includes both the vinyl tracks + a bonus remix of 'Smell The Napalm' by Dyslexia Boy.
